Novice 13 & under : Montreal vs Toronto

The always entertaining novice matchup lived up to its hype as Toronto and Montreal’s youngest athletes (13 and younger) faced off at noon. Toronto entered the half with a commanding 25-9 lead but Montreal led a frantic comeback. Ultimately, Toronto scored a late basket with less than a minute remaining to take a one point lead and Montreal’s last second buzzer beater was just a bit short, as Toronto held on for a 34-33 victory. A terrific game by these young superstars!
