The girls can hoop! In their third and final matchup of the tournament, Toronto and Montreal’s Junior Girls battled for the right to be crowned champions. They had split the first two matches and the third match was split down the middle as well. Coaches Melkon and Jack had the girls ready and an exciting game took place, with several lead changes and a hot crowd! With Montreal up by 3 points and seconds left, Toronto ran a great play and had a good look from 3 point range. The shot fell just short, and Montreal won the contest and the 2017 Junior Girls “Baronian” championship.
